NFS The Run – Infos zum Multiplayer

Seit wenigen Stunden exestiert auf Youtube ein erster Trailer zum Mehrspielermods von Need for Speed The Run welches schon am 17. November 2011 erscheint. Bislang war nur wenig zum Mehrspielermodus bekannt und die Informationen die heute veröffentlicht worden bereiten der Informationsarmut ein Ende. Insgesamt wird es sechs Mehrspielermodi geben die bereits vom Spielemagazin Gamerzins vogestellt wurden.

Trotz allem wird es auch eine große Paltette an Medalien und Auzeichnungen geben die errungen werden können und z.B. neue Wagen freischalten. Gänzlich neu ist auch das „Glücksrad“ welches vor jeder Onlinepartie ein zufällige Belohnung auswählt. Dies Belohnungen reichen von Bonus XP bis hin zu einem neuen Wagen. Nun aber zuerst der neue Need for Speed Multiplayer Trailer! Spot ab!

Need for Speed The Run – Die Mehrspielermodi:

• Supercar Challenge: This series is described by the game as supporting “the fastest cars on the fastest tracks”, so players should expect the most extravagant four-wheeled creations in this set list. Fastest track could essentially mean anything, but we suspect the tight, windy courses are out and the grand freeways are in, to allow the supercars to get to top speed.
• NFS Edition Racing: Players can only race specific cars which belong to the NFS edition range. So expect the likes of the Lamborghini Aventador, Chevrolet Camero ZL1 and the Porsche 911 Carrera S to be mixing it up on track, among others.
• The Underground: Now this series is more for the tricked out street motors, most of which are much more likely to be in our price range. Expect the likes of the Nissan 370Z, Mazda MX-5, Volkswagen GTI Mk1 and BMW M3 E30 Sport Evolution to be prominent in this one.
• Mixed Competition: This series is open to all cars regardless of class.
• Exotic Sprint: As the name suggest this series is only open to the exotic cars like the Aston Martin One-77 and the Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni.
• Car Battles: Last but not least we have a series revolving around the car battle event which also features in the single-player campaign. Unlike the other series which all consist of races, this event is all about catching up to a player ahead, overtaking them and pulling out a lead in order to eliminate them before a timer runs out. Unfortunately we didn’t get to sample this mode online.
